Design Therapy is the creative outlet of designer physiotherapist Annika Jermyn.
She was born in Finland, lived in Ireland for nine years, New York for seven years, and currently resides in Finland again.
She studied design at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland. She worked for Ireland’s best known designer John Rocha for a few years. In New York she created mr Tedi, a big headed bear made of repurposed menswear. mr Tedi was sold in cool stores around the world and featured in the New York Times.
After returning to Finland Annika redesigned her life, became a physiotherapist and currently works at Turku University Hospital.
